The opening of the Järvisydän Spa to be celebrated in spring 2017
A spa excavated in part in rock is currently being constructed at Rantasalmi, near the Linnasaari national part, in the middle of beautiful lake scenery. Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd has designed this experiential and unique spa. When completed, it will consist of 600 m2 of pool space and eight saunas. The ecological spa is heated with lake heat and solar energy. The materials are close to nature: natural stone and the wooden parts of 500-year-old sunken logs, aiming at a genuine, timeless, mystical ambiance.
Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän, located by the Saimaa ringed seal waters and old boating routes, has a long history beginning from an inn established in 1658. The new spa is beautifully landscaped to the hillside, respecting the surroundings. The planning work supports the design principles of Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd on ecological, aesthetic and high-quality design.
