From Maxim to PalatsiStudio and back to Maxim

Nothing is more permanent than constant change.

Fortunately, proven aesthetic aspects are preserved in situations of change, too. To our luck, this also happened with the PalatsiStudios in Kuopio, designed by us. The cut-glass chandeliers, silver-and-red curtains, golden pillars, acoustic ceiling with red beams, a beautiful spiral staircase, mirrors expanding the space and the space division both in public spaces and in the background, have only gained a new life as PalatsiStudios, focussing on dance, changed into the Maxim cinema.

The arrival of Maxim, focussing on entertaining evening programmes, into Kuopio is more than welcome. We opened Maxim with world-class magician Joni Pakanen’s performance ”Harhautus” (Delusion). The joy of reunion was great. We had selected Joni as one of the artist guides for the Shanghai World Fair in 2010. Joni will perform again at Maxim on December 10th with singer Netta Dahlberg in his show ” Pääesiintyjä” (The Protagonis).

If you want to meet with us, come along to experience the facilities designed by use and the surely splendid show. See you at Maxim!

P.S. Our dear colleague Arkkityypit from Kuopio has designed the auditorium, bar, stage, cloakroom and ticket sales of  renewed Maxim.

Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd wishes luck and success to Maxim!
