The Isokylä community centre and its Jatulintarha artwork inaugurated

The school is dear to Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd, because the Troy Town designed by the studio was selected the environmental artwork of the community centre through the artist bank of the Kokkola municipal educational administration.  The environmental artwork takes into account users of different ages. The artwork set of a surface area of about 182 m2 is an integral part of the concrete floor of the lobby spaces and also rises on two plastered walls. The path connecting the parts of the artwork goes from the main entrance through the lobby spaces to the lunchroom.

The dedication of the Isokylä community centre, completed in the summer of 2015, will be celebrated on May 2. In the same event, the Isokylä school operating in the premises will receive the status of a UNESCO school and join the world’s largest network of schools, covering more than 70 educational institutions in Finland and 10,000 globally. Speakers at the dedication include secretary general Anita Lehikoinen from the Ministry of Education and Culture and chairman of the Education and Culture Committee of the Parliament of Finland, Member of Parliament Tuomo Puumala.

We wish to the community centre and its different user groups luck and success!
