The mayor’s delegation in Shanghai

The Kuopio chanterelle landscape changed into skyscraperscapes, when a business delegation from Kuopio landed in its twin city, Pudong, Shanghai.

Co-operation agreements in the cultural and educational sectors went on with festive ceremonies and dinner speeches. There seems to be demand for Nordic innovative cultural know-how in Shanghai, living a cultural renaissance. The ambiance is most inspiring!

We also experienced that when lecturing at an event of the Nordic Design Week. In a panel discussion together with renowned Chinese design agencies (PUSU, a creative design brand from Shanghai and Hangzhou Bole Design), we looked for future possibilities for co-operation and trends to build bridges between two different cultures.
