Minna Joenniemi’s radio programme ”Build Me”

”Architecture is the greatest and most expensive of art forms, and it permanently shapes the living environment of us all. Finland is concentrating into cities and is building a lot now. Architects are at a vantage point in the change, and they traces in the landscape also internationally. ”Build Me” is a ten-part series on architecture. It is a moment of open doors in which cultural journalist Minna Joenniemi meets with topical architects, elucidates the backgrounds of the buildings designed by them and asks what those houses tell of the values of their time.” This is from the introductory text of journalist Minna Joenniemi’s programme. The programme has earlier reported, for example, on architect Rainer Mahlamäki’s award-winning Jewish museum, Asmo Jaaksi’s daring museum project for Amos Andersson and Seija Holmen’s pioneering projects in developing countries.

Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd participates in the ”Build Me” (Rakenna minut) radio programme on 27 April at 5:20 p.m.

The programme can also be heard on YLE Areena.
