Toward the new with the force of evolution!
The decision process that took years has now reached its conclusion: the Evolution artwork will be built onto the façade of building 2 of the Kuopio University Hospital in all its glory. The work will be about 1600 m² in surface area. It will work as a sunscreen and thus also as an energy saver. Along with this work, each room opens to its own unique artwork. The images used in Evolution are at the cutting edge of our development, pictures of living people’s internal cell level taken by physicians of the University of Eastern Finland and of the Kuopio University Hospital – magnified a thousand-fold.
This is good news to start the year with!
