A month of openings, sparkling wine and glamour
The past September was a month of openings for Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd. As many completed projects seldom fall on the same month, as many architectural projects last months or even years. At midmonth we celebrated the renovated cinema Maxim of Savon Kinot Oy and right after that the opening of the new Kaarisairaala (Arch Hospital) of the Kuopio University Hospital, where august speeches and song performances winged us to the start of everyday work. Two hundred guests had gathered into the light lobby of Kaarisairaala, among others, archiatre Risto Pelkonen, who gave a touching and encouraging speech on the hospital named ”the most beautiful hospital in the country”. More glamour and sparkling wine was in the offing towards the end of the month, when the opening show ”Lapland Odyssey 2” was screened in the renovated Bio Rex Rovaniemi cinema.
