Bio Rex conquers the West
The year 2016 has started with us with a focus on cinemas and the west coast: Tornio, Vaasa, Pietarsaari… To the extent that we have considered going on a Swedish course. Our employer is for such a long term that we should finally master that language.
In spite of all predictions, Finns go to the movies more than before, even though the recession and home cinemas were supposed to drive away the last of the viewers. On the other hand, long-term work in designing high-quality cinemas will be rewarded. One cannot, of course, belittle the fantastic new movies coming from many parts of the world, including Finland. You cannot leave everything unseen, and everything doesn’t look good at home, luckily! Nothing beats the smell of popcorn, soft benches, communal silence and storms of laughter!
