The Orthodox Church Museum of Finland, RIISA opens on 25 April, 2015
RIISA will open to the public, opening at the same the new basic exhibition ”On the stairs of sanctity”, to be blessed and inaugurated by Athenagoras, metropolitan of Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg. In this momentous event a long common project will have the festive occasion it deserves. Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd has participated in the Church Museum project since 2010, when it was selected as the designer of the exhibition renovation, public spaces and graphic appearance. The project has been rewarding and memorable – one seldom gets to know so closely the fascinating and multidimensional world of so beautiful museum treasures. The task has also been high-powered and very challenging. The objectives of an experiential, multiform, interesting and accessible museum environment have been realised well, thanks to the strong original idea: a golden and silvery RIISA.
