Celebrating the new look of the Kuopio Airport
The greater part of the interior of the terminal has now been renovated with fresh and modern decorative solutions.
”We want passengers to feel comfortable and to get tuned into a travel mood already at the airport. We believe that the new look just completed lifts the service experience and comfort to an even higher level”, says chief of the airport Raija Niskanen of Finavia.
The creator of the renovation is Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd. For them it was important to consider already in the planning stage that the airport facilities have been designed primarily for uncomplicated movement and also for passing the time.
A delicate reed theme is repeated in the windows, benches and service desks of the airport. You can wait for the departure of your flight on benches of the gate or on rock-like couches, and the dried logs pass for a table or a stool.
