Pa-La expands
The assignment to us of a new hospital project, the Lappeenranta Central Hospital of the South Karelia Social and Health Care District (Eksote), gave momentum to our long-time dreams. Our office spaces will be expanded by almost a half, thanks to the pilot building we planned for Honkarakenne. The building has been designed as a flexible space to be easily adapted to different uses. Smaller and larger entities suitable to other situations can be built with the same elements as well. During the autumn, our Pa-La team has been further strengthened and diversified. Mr. Janne Ijäs, who has a long work experience, started as our project architect and his long-time colleague, Ms. Raili Hakkarainen, as architect assistant in August. Of our former project workers, Ms. Outi Taskinen was regularised in the interior decoration and design projects and acoustician, Mr. Clem Bizet as architect assistant.
