Secrets of the mind and 3D artworks at the Joensuu Art Museum
The human brain is the world’s most complex and the most developed organic entity. It evolves little by little till long in the adult age. Interaction and emotional experiences influence the development of the brain and the mind since babyhood: thinking, memory, imagination and consciousness. Repeated and positive experiences, predictability and trust are the building blocks of the brain for the growth of an optimistic attitude and good self-respect. This connection between the brain and the mind has intrigued people throughout the ages, but there is still no exhaustive explanation of their relationship. Is it even necessary always to explain everything? Will the concept of the mind one day end up like flat earth once did?
In its own way, Jaana Partanen’s 3D exhibition Mental Alchemy examines and opens the secrets of the mind. Mental Alchemy on exhibit at the Joensuu Art Museum from 20th April till 19th May, 2013.
Opening at the Joensuu Art Museum on 19th April, 2013, at 6 p.m. Welcome!
